Frequency Hopping Synthesizer is used in microwave band wireless systems, which
require the local frequency with low phase noise and high stability. Since low
phase noise OCXO is loaded for reference. It is unnecessary for the external
reference oscillator to feed reference signal to unit. FHSZ8588 comes with three
output ports, covering 60 MHz in port 1, 1080MHz in port 2, and 8.56 - 8.86 GHz
in port 3 (Output frequency is generated by using 30 MHz Frequency Step Hopping
method). In 8.56 - 8.86 GHz range, DRO (Dielectric Resonator Oscillator) and SPD
(Sampling Phase Detector) is applied to create PLL to maintain low phase noise
characteristics. Interface is configured with 9-pin D-Sub, which includes DC
power frequency setting TTL (+5V High, 0V Low) with one strobe. All three output
power ports comes in 50 ohms SMA connectors.
